The image quality and sound is good and the internal microphone does good, especially in loud situations. It's not so good for quiet situations because then it picks up quite a lot of noise form the camera's motor. Good value.

Bought this camcorder to take away with us at Christmas.
You really can just take this out of the box, charge it and start shooting straight away! Love the touch screen functions, and the easy to use buttons.
Really do not see much difference between this and the next few higher up models and this is a good price I think.
Really like this product a lot.

cheap yet awesome

I've shot with this same camera for 5 years and have never had any problems with it. I'm a film/video producer and I mostly use it to shoot stuff on the run and on the cheap. If you set up your camera properly you can get a nice picture and the touch screen menus are easy to use...
