The HVL-20DMA dual video light from Sony brightens up even the darkest video shoot. It features two bulbs that produce either 40 lux of light in single bulb mode or 80 lux in dual bulb mode.The HVL-20DMA provides bright lighting for rich, detailed video in even the most demanding shooting situations. I bought it 18 months before from Amazon for my Sony HDR- SR1 camcorder but I hardly used it because of the poor results. I originally bought it for my daughter's 1st birthday celebration but found that the amount of light from this device even in full power was not adequate for a small group of people. Finally I bought a workplace spot light with adjustable stand for around £15.00 in Argos that worked very well. Further the quality of the light from this Sony product also was not good and made the video with yellow colouration rather than natural colours! This product made the camcorder more bulky as well as can't hold it properly. This product also too expensive and is not worth for the hardly earned money. I would not recommend this product for big filming like parties or events.
