I bought this phone because I was frankly tired of the touch screen phones. I found many of them to be ultra sensitive and the old fashioned phones a lot easier to text and make calls on. I went for Sony Ericsson as well because it was a name that I trusted. I had an old Sony mobile many years ago at it certainly lasted longer than the "Battery starts to die after 18 months" Phones out today.
First of all the phone itself is a little larger than many on the market. By larger I mean thicker which may come as a bit of a shock. The screen quality is excellent though and the functions very easy to use. The one drawback I would say with this phone however is that the quality of photos taken in any kind of darkness is very poor. Taken in daylight they are excellent however. The video functions are top class though the bluetooth is frankly unnecessarily complicated to use. I haven't used much of the MP3 player yet however if there is one thing you can trust with Sony and that's the music quality will be top class.
All in all if you want a decent phone and are sick of touch screen then I would recommend this one.
Just a note to my review.
I have had this phone now for almost a year and so far so good! Not used the mp3 so cant comment on that (Never bother with music on my phone) Everything else though is working fine. I will say this for a large screen on the front of the phone its holding out very well, the battery life is also very good. I also use the internet from time to time on the phone and even with that use the battery is usually good for a few days without running out. Heavy use I would say lasts about a day and a half to two days.
About 10 months in and no complaints.
