Just bought this after looking at reviews for its "excellent sound quality".
My friend owns an old Nokia bluetooth headset and I was very impressed so decided to get one myself, unfortunately they dont make them any more so after some research on the internet I plumped for this one.
Well, I expected this device to sound great, better than my friends Nokia, but all I can say is there is a lot of people that don't have a clue about sound quality, they sound rubbish at high volumes, I only listen to 320kbps music so its as good as mp3's get and it just distorts badly, the headphones supplied have little bass and I think this was sonys way of trying to disguise the problem.
I plugged my old Sony Ericcson W880i's headphones in and they sound much better, richer, fuller sound with the missing bass but still distorts at high volumes, which the loudness is not even very high.
Back to back testing with the Nokia makes the MW-600 sound cheap, the Nokia is louder, clearer and doesn't distort.
Also the design of the volume slider is just terrible, it changes when you are trying to do something else on the devicewith the merest touch but bizzarely when you want to change volume you just cant get it to work!!!touchtouch but bizzarely and infuriatingly
