Excellent all-rounder - A phone with more applications and accessories than you could ever expect!

This is my 4th Sony Ericsson phone and they just keep getting better.
Like all Sony phones I've used, it excels in and, as well as being able to make and receive calls, it also offers a mass of other applications and features, some of which are not listed in its specification so purchasers are likely to be very pleasantly surprised, particularly if you're a fan of small electronic gadgets.
Pros
Excellent Sony design as always: neat design, slim and compact
Very clear display
Large, easily-navigated menu icons
Recess to affix a wrist/neck strap
Doubles as an MP3 and MP4 player -
Walkman provides excellent sound quality with 2 speakers
FM radio
Camera (3 megapixel) with adjustable white balance and other settings
Video mode - 2 resolutions
Photo blogging and video blogging
2GB MM2 memory card included
Voice-dialling
Good battery life
Can synchronise with a PC or other mobile phone to backup contacts/data
Huge range of features and applications including:
Photo and video editing, themed slideshows with backing music, step counter, organiser, calendar, 5 alarms, games, world clock
Fast internet access
YouTube compatible
Cons
Very flimsy back cover - it feels as though it' about to break while being fitted
Keypad may be too fiddly for large fingers
Camera is fixed focus - a big backwards step in my opinion
No LED light
I feel Sony Ericsson has put together a superb package with this little phone. My one and only disappointment was to discover the camera has a fixed focus lens so its loses the 5th star I would have otherwise awarded it.

I am a fan of SE phones. I like this one because the slider is solid and reliable. The sound is great. The keyboard lights up at night and its nice and bright. The keys are easy to use. Its nice and slim and fits easily into my pocket. The sound of the music is brilliant for such a small item. It is easy to navigate through the menues and well worth the money.

Having owned Nokia's for over 10 years I was a little sceptical about moving to a Sony Ericsson. One of the main reasons for buying this handset was that I couldn't get Mail for Exchange to work properly with my Nokia N95. So after lots of research I discovered that this handset came installed with a Exchange Activesync program to synchronise contacts, email and calendar with my business Microsoft Exchange Server. Setup took about 5 minutes and works 10 times better than Nokia mail for exchange. Very Impressed! Away from the email the user interface is simple to use, call quality excellent, battery life brilliant (almost 4 days between charges!!). The in built speakers are very good as well! Very very impressed - Well done Sony Ericsson!

Good phone overall, but with some downsides
Good-looking phone. Nice large screen. Very intuitive to use with a good range of features. Music sound quality is better than my Creative Zen MP3 player. Read more
