Nice cheap handset for those who do not wish to take pictures (this handset has no camera but has a built in FM Radio). Menu system quite easy to use with a few quirks (such as pressing "No" to turn the phone on) but overall logical in layout and navigation. Ringer is good sound quality but possibly a touch quiet for use in a noisy enviroment. Supplied ringtones a bit none descript (love the "Old phone" ringtone thou') but new ringtones can easily be downloaded.
The buttons are oddly staggered and made of hard plastic but more easy to read the numbers compared with a lot of phones currently on the market.
The FM radio has a good sound however you do have to use the supplied hands free (supplied in pack from O2) as the hands free also acts as an aerial (the phone issists on it's use for accessing radio) and has the Sony plug on it rather than just a mini stereo jack. This means that if you break or lose it you will have to buy a Sony (or compatable) hands free. The radio allows you to store presets and I would imagine would be very handy on long train / coach journeys and the such like.
The games built in feature a tetris type game and mini golf. Neither appealed to me but then I'm not an arcades games type person (I prefer logic puzzles such as sudoko).
The built in speaker is adequate and handy for those moments when you want to scribble down information being conveyed to you.
This phone also features an alarm clock (handy for holidays) and an organisers. The organsier has a calendar (you can add appointments (with reminders if required), tasks, calculator, timer, stopwatch (with lap times if wanted).
All in all this appears to be a nice little dual band phone from Sony Ericsson.
