These are excellent tapes but please be aware that there are three different types of tapes - liquid lubricant, dry dry lubricant and Metal Evaporation. If you mix them, you risk damaging your video camera. The main problem is if you mix liquid & dry lubricant tapes you get left with a gunge that can clog the tape transport mechanism. But people recommend that you mix none of these three types of tape.
The three types are:
1. Sony
2. Panasonic/Fuji/Maxell/JVC/Canon(as Panasonic make the tapes for Fuji, Maxell, JVC & Canon)
3. TDK
Sony uses liquid lubricant; Panasonic uses dry lubricant; TDK uses Metal Evaporation technology.
So, it doesn't matter if you use Sony, Panasonic or TDK tapes - just stick to the same type.
