This is a really neat little DVD player. Cheap and doesnt take up a lot of space. So perfect for a bedroom.
The only down side is that it is noisy when playing dvd's but cant ask for a better player for the price

This is an attractive DVD player that plays DVDs well - even most of our scratched ones that our previous player struggled with - and has a sensibly laid out remote. The player plays your DVD from where you last stopped in (for the previous 6 DVDs) which is a handy feature. Highly recommended.

what a lovely DVD player, easy to setup and easy to use,but if anyone buys one of these then don't except their recommendations of having HMDI leads as it is scart connections.

SONY DVP-SR150
There is excellent picture detail, rich colours, and great contrast, 10 years ago, quality like this would have required an outlay of £150 or more. This replaces an old Pioneer, and the quality upgrade is astonishing. I have a Panasonic HD upscaling DVD player, and I really don't see enough difference for me to mark this Sony player down for picture quality. This player isn't even directly linked to my TV, but playing through a scart splitter!

The sound quality is just fine, but then only as good as the Sony Bravia it's playing through. There is phono output and digital coaxial, but what do these mean?

One omission, and that is the remote doesn't have a convenient picture aspect button, so it doesn't replace the TV remote control completely, but does volume, AV channel, and TV on/off. The remote is very dinky with small buttons, complements the player nicely.

It's about the size of a thick A4 notepad, this is an incredibly small machine, almost portable, just perfect. It has just four external control buttons, Power, Eject, Play, and Stop.

The lack of output connections makes this the best machine for people who are not technically minded. I like extras like sharpness enhancement, and Dynamic/Cinema/Standard picture, all of which are not gimmicky but really work.

Like most reviewers, there is nothing to dislike, since it does its job so well for so little money. Why spend so much upgrading to HD when standard def DVD delivers this much punch.

Smart little DVD player - It's small and compact - slim and attractive looking. It's easy to set up and it's so quiet. Somehow the picture seems more crisp also. Very happy with this product :)

Amazon state that this player will only play disks from Region 2. This initially put me off, though the advice is misleading - it is a multi region player! I use it for my disks from the USA and home purchased disks as well, as it so easy to use.

Item not for me, but purchased as a Christmas present for parants, who seem very pleased. Easy to set up, however purchasers should be aware that there is no SCART cable included (not a problem for my parants as they were replacing a broken video, but could be a problem for anyone not replacing an existing product).

A good player at a good price.

When I bought it it was advertised as multi-region but was supplied locked to Region 2, and apparently requires an additional universal remote (at 60% of the cost of the player) to unlock it.

It seems that Amazon could have done that, but given the margins, I guess it made more sense for them to change the advertisement.
