Being a BAFTA member I've recently been sent a high-end specially-encrypted DVD player so that BAFTA screeners can't be viewed on a 'normal' player and piracy is controlled. The player we've been sent is a Cinea SV300 and the quality, I was told, is exceptional. However, I can honestly say that the Sony DVPS336 gave better quality picture and sound. It also has a better remote control and more functions. I have absolutley no complaints about the Sony player; on the contrary I'm extremely disappointed to have replaced it but since I want to be able to view BAFTA screeners then I have no choice! A top quality player, then, in all aspects. Highly recommended.
