I have only just purchased this camera and have not had a lot of time to put it thorugh it's paces but wow what results on the first play!. Quality like i've never had before . This is however my first DSLR camera and so far would recommend it to anyone esp for newcomers and ammateurs alike, I am sure the more expereinced and professional photographers could find something a lot better on the market but this little compact camera really packs a punch when it comes to quality and price.
I am an auto setting user as i've never been able to get my head around the instruction manual but this one comes with an exremely easy to follow book and I have been maunally setting the camera up and have had fun doing it too.
Fast action shots are faultless and the built in handshake stabiliser does a good job
Compared to others on the market which are large and bulky , this one comes compact, light weight and its design makes it very comfortable to use.If I were to loose the one I have I would go out and buy another without looking at any others, The price is great , the picture quality is great, its easy to use . What more could you ask for ?
5* to Sony for bringing this little baby out on the market

very nice camera with very crisp images and ease of use. If my son robs it for photo course i would buy another sony for myself.Bonus with this make is you can get old minolta AF lenses and flash units that work with sony and are top quality, and dont cost the earth. My flash unit only cost £20 and not £130 for a new one.

This is my first DSLR camera and i have mixed feelings about it,.
Since i'm a novice with DSLR's i have stuck to the Auto setting only trying the manual settings a few times with not so good results (Trying to learn though)
The problem is the auto setting is very hit and miss. If i take a couple of pictures back to back in the same spot one will be nice and bright, the other looks like storm clouds have just arrived.
Many of the pictures i have have turned out fantastic, i just don't understand why things can look so different?
Nice feel to the camera and when it works how i want it to it's very good.
