This is a lovely digital photo frame from Sony. I auditioned several before settling on this one, and chose this one because of the image quality. Photos appear very natural on the display, without the odd colours or washing out I saw with other screens. It will auto-rotate images when you rotate the screen from portrait to landscape orientation, which is a nice touch.
The unit is a cinch to set up, insert an SD card with your images and switch on, and away you go. Operation is pretty intuitive via the small remote control, which is probably a good thing as the supplied instructions are sparse and written in Japanglish.
There are 2 interfaces - SD as mentioned and also a USB port. You should note that the USB port is to connnect the unit to a PC for uploading images to the frame's internal memory, and is an almost square USB-B plug port. It won't accept a USB memory stick direct (which is a USB-A plug, usually) - you have to plug the stick into your PC and link to the frame via another USB cable. Then just drag and drop files to the frame memory.
Overall? Good value for money, and very natural images.

This is a quality product in almost every way. The display is very good and just like looking at an actual photograph. I have a few minor niggles as follows, but they should not detract from the fact that this is a very good product that does exactly what it says.
- The instruction book is not well written, but almost everything can be worked out by playing around for a while with the remote control and finding out what the frame will do.
- The photo frame can be set to display a clock or calendar in a choice of formats, but the choice seemed very odd with very few conventional clock faces or calendars among them. However, I expect that few people would want the photo frame to display a clock.
I purchased this with a 4GB memory card and have loaded several hundred family photos on it which are displayed slowly one by one throughout the day.
I know that digital photo frames have got a bad reputation as a gift item, but I bought this one for my aged parents and they were truly delighted.

Delighted with this photoframe. Picture quality is excellent. Frame is black which matches other Sony equipment in the room. Easy to setup. Connect to pc or laptop to transfer images to the internal memory. Easier to insert sd card from your camera and view or to make photo list on sd card with your favourite snaps and view as slideshow. On / off timer is very useful, just set time to power up and power off each day and let it run!
