A fantastic piece of kit. I had a few concerns, such as the low volume reported on other Sony models, but I cannot find a single fault with this CD player. The mp3/atrac function is second to none, it's very simple to upload/convert songs to your CD player, and it automatically groups them into their respective albums, and also lists the song titles. The "jog-proof" system is perfect, and all the buttons are well laid out and easy to use.
I also purchased a "Sony CDCASE3 CD Walkman Belt Case" from Amazon. It didn't specify that it would fit this particular CD player, but I took a chance and it fits perfectly.
Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase, I would recommend it to anyone.

The headphones provided are of terrible quality, if you enjoy your music you'll want to buy a different pair. It has problems reading some discs, makes a funny noise - you simply open it and take the disc off and then back on again and it works. The MP3 feature is obviously very useful and it loads in a pretty reasonable speed. Once you've got some good headphones, the sound quality is very impressive.
I've dropped it, I'm sure it's been to hell and back bouncing around in my bag, but it still keeps going and the batteries really do give you 40 hours of music, if not more!

I've just bought this cd player and although generally I find it okay, given its relatively low price, there are a couple of disappointments. I do find the volume a problem For some of my CDs full volume is only just adequate. This is more of an issue with classical than pop though. The other thing is that whereas the blurb says you can put up to 30 cds on to one Atrac CD, I have only managed to get on ten and the disc is full. If I had known this I might have chosen not to buy this cd player. Having said that, its a neat item, the headphones are okay and its entirely jog proof. Probably good value for money.
