I brought this CD player for my holidays, and I was very impressed!
* The batteries lasted for 2 weeks, and are still going now on 3 bars!!
* The sound quality is good, and is also good quality through speakers.
*The beep can be turned off ;)
*Its got the jog protection.. I dont jog, but i do drop things and it doesn't jump at all.
*Its half the price than in most offline shops!

this cd player is amazing and the AVLS which limits the sound can be turned off by the flick of a switch. The battery life is incredable i rarely have to replace the batteries. Its easy to use, when you turn the cd player off it automattically holds your place you listened up to. it has a hold feature so if you accidently knock a button it doesnt mess up your listening. on the whole an amazing cd player. buy it!!

The sound quality is perfect for normal CD's and i was very impressed at first until I tried a CD/R with it. I tried about 10 in all and every time after track 5 it skipped and became impossible to listen to. I advise you not to buy this product if you wish to use your home CD/R's with it!

Poor volume
A good CD player except for the volume. The volume is insufficient to over ride external noise and where the music is quiet the sound is virtually inaudible. Read more

Wheres the volume?
Quiet, One word that describes this perfectly. Even set at the maximum the volume seems very low and you will struggle to hear it if you are using speakers. Read more

sony personal cd player
