Bargain bucket - but great!,

I was looking for a replacement for my old personal CD player, but didn't want to spend too much as it seems daft spending a lot of cash on (virtually) outdated technology. I'd rather save up for an Ipod. However, this CD player is fab. Great sound, no problem reading burnt disks (unlike my old Philips model), and you can even see the CD spinning round, which is pretty cool. Very pleased.

If Sound quality matters,

Bought this on impulse for a tenner, along with a whole pile of cut-price CDs. It may look cheap and nasty (cos it is), but with a pair decent 'phones it will blow away any mp3 player. This is because CDs contain 10x more sound detail than MP3 files.

Double Frustration,

I ordered this walkman, twice, (the second time as a replacement for the first)because the sound, volume AVLS buttons don't work. This means that you can't adujust the volume level.I've ordered this item twice and had to return it twice,as it seems to have the same problem.I wonder if this is an ongoing manufacturing fault? I'm very disapointed, as I only ordered this because it seemed to be a 'best seller' !
