The DSC-P43 Cyber-shot digital camera is a great compact, easy to use digital camera. With 4.1 Megapixel resolution and Sony's proprietary Real Imaging Processor you'll get great pictures every time! It also employs a 3x Precision Digital Zoom including Smart Zoom to bring the action closer to you. With 2 supplied rechargeable NiMH AA batteries and charger, you'll get over 3 hours of shooting on one full charge. The DSC-P43 is PictBridge compatible for easy printing and comes equipped with a high speed USB 2.0 and AV output. And with MEPG Movie VX Fine mode you can capture video at an amazing 30 fps.

Try P43.
This should simply be the best choice for casual users like you and me. No doubt there are tens of cameras out there with outstanding functions, features and modes but trust me, P43 is all you need. I'll tell you several common digicams' functions and please, have a though about it.
-People would love to go for high resolution cameras, say 4MP and above. but 2MP is more than enough for taking pictures of friends, scenaries, buildings.. and is adequate for printing too. unless that you're a professional photographer and do photo editting, you might need more. P43 is 4.1MP, brilliant!!
-No one really bother about adjusting ISO, white balance, and focus while taking pictures (assuming the camera does them automatically). you will usually take the camera out of the pouch and start snapping. you dont feel the need of fiddling with those functions but they're there!! in P43!!
-Okay this one doesnt have an optical zoom. but Smart Zoom is smart. who needs optical zoom anyway? jus get close to the subject and shoot! or take the picture with high res and crop your desired subject on a computer.

so conclusion is: P43 has everything you need (and not)!! and it is among the cheapest digicam around with 4MP and bundled with rechargable batteries. I did comparisons with other cameras myself, and chose this. wont regret. So whether if you're a new buyer or looking for replacement for your old camera, this machine wont let you down. (this review doesnt apply to pro photographers)

I got this camera a little over a week ago and since ive got it i cant stop using it. Its amazing. It comes with some many little feature that make photos look amazing.
Its high quality for the price that its being sold is also great. Pictures come out so clear, even ones taken in low light.
It has many differnt modes so you can adjust the camera easily to the surroundings.
Another great feature is its ability to take video. The quailty is pretty good for a digital camera and it also records sound, but they do take up a lot of memory.
It also looks great and is quite small so it easily fits in your pocket.
One of its only draw backs is that the memory stick that is supplied is only 16mb, which is far to small if you want to take many good quailty pictures. However its easy enough to just buy a larger memory stick.
Top camera, and a good price. Only draw back is the small included memory stick.

Overall, features and functions are amazing!
Just upgraded from my Sony PS 32. With P43, you can take VGA,1M,3M,4M photos compared with VGA,1.2M,2M,3M for P32. The picture turn out to be better(and faster) because the flash is more advanced than that of the older model. But the shutter closes quite quickly so it can be a bit annoying sometimes especially when you've just found you perfect moment ;) Moreover, I prefer the shape of P32 (similar weight) because I can hold it better and hence less shaking!!! I would not recommend this to people with bigger hands as they might find it too small. Ask for a demo in the shop before you purchase it online--that's my advice.

Excellent- Easy to use
