An older design now, but still well worth buying still if you want a great non-compact digital camera. The picture quality is excellent; far better than the more portable, compact cameras on the market, including my Panasonic Lumix, which gives adequate recordable results, but not supreme quality results. This is the best option down from a fully fledged diti-SLR but without all of the fuss of interchangeable lenses. So if you don't want a new compact style SLR, and don't care whether you can fit your camera in a back pocket or small bag, you won't be disappointed with this cheaper version, particularly at today's prices.

I was looking for a camera which has the usual feature we all want, such as picture clarity, good optical zoom and easy to use, but more importantly, as I have quite unsteady hands, needed a camera with very good stability. This camera is perfect for me, as has a fantastic super steady shot, so my pictures no longer have that slight blur from hand movement. It also has a lot of creative settings which I enjoy playing around with. Another important requirement for me is that, as a slightly older model camera, it has a view finder, I know this considered a bit old fashioned now, but I still prefer using the view finder. Overall very happy with camera.
