I bought this camera for it's very low shutter lag. Just over a year later and the camera vibrates when turned on. It is unusable due to a fault in the lens system. If you look on line you will see reports of this but unlike other models, Sony do not recognise it as a flaw in the build/design so you'll have to pay to have it repaired if it is out of warranty. Given the cost of that you may as well buy another camera.
I won't buy another Sony product. I have never had a problem with Casio or Canon compacts so I'll stick with them.

Have to say I keep on coming back to this camera. Used along with my new G10 for holls. The difference in mega pixels was negligible on screen. So very handy to keep in handbag/pocket, preferred its movie mode to g10. Hate having to use a pro-stick for card when inserting it into digi photoframe and computer etc. Forgot when going to print at Boots and had to use tweezers to extracate, I suppose you will think that's a "woman thing". This is the camera to keep on charge though, just in case.

I orignally bought a W90 and had problems with it so sent it back and decided to try a different one. I was unsure about buying one with a touchscreen as had never used one before but I am absolutely thrilled with it! It has a quick shutter lag (time it takes from pressing button to actually taking picture) so you don't miss that special moment, and takes great photos and I really love the touch screen facility. I am no techno wizz and after a bit of playing with it is quite easy to use. My friends who have seen the camera are tempted to invest in one!! Highly reccommended.
