Astounding sound will greet you the moment you turn on Sony's smart looking CMT-M70 Micro System. This compact micro system measures 159x217x315mm, yet is packed with 40 Watts of total system power (20 Watts X 2 RMS). It features a tray-loading CD player, a tuner with 20 FM and 10 AM station presets, a Feather Deck auto-reverse cassette with CD Syncro Record and a 2-Way bass reflex speaker system. The speakers each feature a 4" woofer and 2" tweeter encased in a 140x217x222 mm cabinet. Enjoy your music to the maximum as features such as Dynamic Sound Generator (DSG) enhance the sound. The system also supports CD-R playback. There is a headphone output, one audio input and a digital out for CD to MD recording. The supplied Remote Commander remote provides complete control. If you are looking for superb sound that you can fit on a shelf, then the Sony CMT-M70 is worth considering.

This is a brilliant micro system, especially for the money. The sound quality is great. The radio is great quality but be warned, you have to buy a coaxial cable to get good quality fm tuning. The aux. is called MD(mini-disc). It is great because I have a mini-disc and I can take stuff from the stereo very easily. The tape is grand, but does anyone use tape anymore?! The speakers are great. The only thing is you can only turn the voulme up to 30 and for some people(like myself), they like their music blazing at around 60. I have no problem giving this 5 stars and if they made another stereo like this in 5 years time(with all the new gadgets) I would deffinetly buy it.
