This review is from: Sony CMT-BX30R Home Audio System (Electronics)
while looking for a system to play music in my baby daughter's room, I found this on Sunday in a Sony center. I paid around 150 EUR and it's worth every penny.
this cute little system plays a range of digital sources that makes it very practical to connect. plays CDs (both audio and MP3 collections, on any format - CD-R, CD+R etc.), radio, USB sources and has a 3.5mm audio input that connects with any media player that has a headphone plug. earlier on I played music from my nokia N85 directly into the system. and the 2-way speakers are small, but surprisingly deep and powerful. some other nice features: the digital sound enhancer which provides extra bass, besides a basic bass&treble equalizer; the smart idea to add folder keys on the unit and the remote, to ease jumping through MP3 folders; the practical display which gives all the information stored on the CD or USB key; a dedicated USB menu, that lets you control the USB source from the unit (add/delete files, for instance); and of course, the sleep function which I cannot do without. :) in other words, I found exactly what I needed. it's not exactly your main source of audio entertainment, but it's ideal for a bedroom or for the office. if there is something that it's missing, that would be bluetooth connectivity, but hey, at this price tag, it's the best there is.
