This case is quiet quality and funtion at it's best. There is however a small downside, the ability to manipulate the controls is a little hindered by the leather covering that area. Still a superb little case though.

The leather case is very well made and thick thus providing significant protection to my A818. The controls are all covered by leather so it isn't as easy to control the A818. The upside is because of the thickness and the flap, I did not have to use the hold function on the A818, as the keys are not easily depressed.
In a bizarre decision, the designers built the slot on the bottom of the case thus leaving the bottom of the Walkman exposed. Personally I would rather have small cut outs for the charger slot and headphone socket and have the A818 slide from the top of the case.
Overall I am happy with the case. It adequately protects the Walkman from light damages. The downside is it doubles the thickness of the Walkman.

Bought this case shortly after getting my new Sony NWZ-A815. Very pleased with it, covers all the right areas well. Has a nice Walkman logo on the front, and a Sony one on the back. As mentioned, the bottom of the player is exposed but this isn't that much of a big deal as the WM-Port is covered by the slider in the player when not in use, and the case has a tight grip on the Walkman, so there is little chance of it falling out. Sony likes to insult our intelligence with the instructions on this case though, I quote this from the back of the packaging:
"To insert the Walkman into the case, slide it with the screen facing upwards all the way into the case"
"To remove the Walkman from the case, press here (arrow pointing to Walkman)
Otherwise, it's fantastic, great buy and essential for your new precious player.
