This stereo looks good, sounds good and all works as you would expect. The interface is smooth and easy to understand and there's plenty options, given the price bracket that the stereo falls into.
I have only two issues with this stereo. First is the compatibility of the USB slot. I personally have all my music on an iPhone and so that's the device I plug into the stereo. However, when I try to plug in via the USB slot, it tells me that the device isn't supported. I can only assume it's the same for other Apple products. I would imagine it to be perfectly compatible with any Sony/Walkman products and possibly other non-Apple products, though I'm not too sure. As it happens, it's not a huge deal as I just use the Aux input instead. It would've been nice to be able to charge while playing though.
Secondly is the security beep that is emitted when the engine is turned off. I think that this is designed to remind you that the face of the stereo is still on. Given that I never take it off though, the beep is just an annoyance. I consulted the instructions to see if I could disable it and there is a section dedicated to disabling the beep. Unless I'm being stupid though(always a possibility), the menu option in which this function is does not exist on the particular model of the stereo that I have and thus I have been unable to disable it.
These are just a few very minor issues that I've experienced that potential buyers ought to bear in mind, however. Overall, this is a great stereo though and a huge improvement on the extensive CD library I used to have to lump around!
