Grab a bargain before it's out of stock, as I gather this is being replaced by a new unit in the product range.
It arrived the day after I ordered it (very speedy), I had it installed and running in a Golf 4 TDI GT the same day.
It has that bassy sound that's good for dance music, sounds very nice with the standard Golf speakers. Everything you need to install is included, it connects straight to the Golf (Euro) radio loom, I had to reverse the switched and permanent live cables to keep the memory live, but bullet connectors allow for that (the red and Yellow on the power block) an Ariel adapter is supplied to change the innie to an outie, and radio removal keys of the flat Euro style are included in the box, which can be used to remove the unit again if needed, as it does click firmly in its cage.
One minor niggle the unit is happy to play disks written on a computer, MP3 CD's display scrolling titles nicely but track titles are cut short on Music CD's and unable to scroll, but at around half its original price it's a steal.

fantastic stereo with next day delivery.. works well with my iphone4, with the usb and auxillary cable... love it bits.. sounds great as well. looks good and simple to use.

Hi, I recently bought a pinoeer deh 2300ubb, but when I came to playing tracks in random mode it only played them random if you let the song finish, if you pressed next track then it went to next track. This infuriated me (and its the same issue with many pioneer stereos) so I sold it and looked for an alternative. Got this sony as it was a great spec, brand and price. And it handles random tacks how I want it to I.E completely random when I press next track button.
So I filled my 32GB USB stick, but my sony stereo is only recognising 16GB of the music on the stick so there is obviously a 16gb limit on this unit. Its an annoyance but just means ive got to be more selective when putting music on my stick. Good stereo, the zappin feature may be usefull for some.

Fantastic Head Unit
This is a fantastic head unit with great sound, you can control your iPod from the head unit itself and if needed plug extra equipment in via a jack plug, highly recommended.
