Excellent CDs for Audio Recorders,
By Gortonandy (Manchester UK) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Sony CD-R Audio 80 Mins 10 Pack (Electronics)
I have used these on my Sony RCD-W100 standalone recorder with no 'coasters'. They are made by Sony in Austria not outsourced like some of their other CD media so you should be getting a premium quality product. If you want to burn CD's on a computer, buy something cheaper as these contain a special code at the insistence of the RIAA (which didn't want cheap CDrs being used on audio recorders). The code is not necessary for computer drives but is essential for standalone recorders.

I've used these on my Sony audio recorder for years and have only ever had a couple of duds. They sound great and no-one has ever come back to me with a complaint (I use them for my own music)and the colours of the discs make for a nice design extra.

Yep, they worked. And from the best of my recollection they were good value for money (I bought them a while ago and I can't recall exactly how much I paid, but rest assurred that since I'm a self-confessed tight-wad they must have been good value for money..)
