Firstly , amazing fast service. Product delivered in 24 hours.Very compact. Easy to set up. Picture for Blu-Ray and DVD are fine I confirm it plays USA DVDs with no problems Negative comment: It's surprisingly noisy when loading - especially Blu-Ray discs. Really grinding noises. It is quiet when movie starts to play, so I must assume it's ok and not a fault. Has anyone else got this noise issue? Otherwise I recommend it.

I have just tested this little blu-ray player,blu-ray and dvds look great. it is also multi region out of the box dvd side only,and has internet features, great price.

Sometimes things really are too good to be true, and despite the 5 star reviews of this product on Amazon, I have since discovered loads of negative reports about this piece of crap elsewhere on the internet. Wish I'd looked there first. When you get it out of the box the fact that there are no connecting leads and the plug is on a flex shorter than on on an electric kettle should alert you that this is a product made to the lowest possible budget spec. When you do plug it in, do not be surprised if the dvd drawer will not open. This is its most notorious fault and has to be one Sony knew would occur, as the drawer is made of the flimsiest material. Even allowing for the plastic to reach room temperature, (yes really, that is the on-line recommendation for overcoming this design feature!) the misalignment of the drawer prevents the player from reading that a disc is even loaded. What a pity. All the features are really desirable in a blu ray player. Sony have just shoved them in a unit that is not for for purpose. AVOID
