Fun:
To start, this product is made by none other than SONY themselves so i expected high quality. I'm happy to this all is of top quality. Here is a quick review of each item
:
. PS vita pouch 7/10
Very good for carrying in jacket pockets and is made from a stretch material. Has a flap to fold over and the flap itself leaves a small gap for the headphone input feels a little weak for carrying in long distances though. Has ps vita logo on putside
.Leather case 10/10
This product is the main reason for buying the kit. It holds the vita with two plastic attachments folds over to a Velcro fasten and has a movable tab on the rear essentially rendering a case/cradle combo worth 10-15£ in itself Has vita logo on top
.Game case 6/10
Very useful for holding memory sticks and game cartridges but feels breakable and not particularly nice aesthetically. Also grips onto memory cards and memory sticks so much to the point that i almost fell i am snapping them. Has logo also
.Screen protector 9/10
Matches up to screen with small analog button tab for super accurate placing. Leaves little to no buttons and is helped by the fact that the vita's screen is flush with the console surface (as compared to the slightly concave psp 1000-3000 series) highly recommended also.
. Wrist strap 7/10
Standard wrist strap ordeal. Feels strong but only time will tell. Has small vita logo emblazoned
Overall: 8/10
A great starter kit and well value money. Is let down by cheap game case but nevertheless a start for all

I bought the PS Vita official starter kit for £20, which was a pretty good waste of money.
The slip case is no good for protection against anything but dust and scrapes while it's sat on the side, you cannot realistically use it for transporting the Vita, and if using the wrist strap, the pouch does not sit closed properly.
The Leather case is great providing you do not want to protect the sides, but protects the screen and sticks brilliantly. The front half of the cover has a raised section in the centre to protect the width of the screen, while the joysticks are untouched, but protected by the cover. Hard to describe. I have to admit, this was the main reason for buying the kit, as I wanted to protect my Vita on the travel to and from work. I do not feel it is adequate enough. I was also hoping to be able to store one or two games in this case so I didn't need to carry the standalone games case too, but it doesn't.
The screen protector promises to go on brilliantly thanks to placing a template over the right hand buttons to make sure you place the protector properly. Unfortunately, it still didn't go on straight.
The wrist strap is a wrist strap, and the game case is a game case....
I ended up buying the Thrustmaster Uncharted Shock Resistant Case (PlayStation Vita) instead, which suits my needs far better.

While the items contained in the starter pack are all useful it seems somewhat strange to me that at least some of them are supplied with the Ps Vita when you buy it. Therefore I feel I have to lower the score slightly to 3 stars.
