I purchased this to use with my newly purchased Sony Cyber-shot DSC HX1 (I might review it soon). For what I do 16GB capacity is a must for me if not higher (any higher though the price is just too much, and 16GB does the job).
Main problem I have had like many was trying to get a real one not a fake, and with this high capacity card it is a fair bit of money to spend on a card so choose wisely. I've ended up with a fake from eBay before and would never buy from there again. Knowing how trusting Amazon are from good past experiences, I went and purchased this from Amazon themselves yesterday in which it came today (I selected Express as my HX1 was arriving the same day), fantastic stuff and I am happy to say the card is genuine! Ways to tell this is the holographic sqaure by the SONY logo is silver with shining lines and little lettering reflecting when you tilt it (sorry kinda hard to explain right). A fake which I had about a year ago before it is more dim and is all gold holo. Also the card will feel perfectly smooth, a fake won't and will have little bulges on the card where the information is and can easily scratch off, not good.
Anyway this card works great in my SONY HX1 and runs very nicely. I've got all the space and flexibility I need now while saving a fair bit of money compared to buying it elsewhere. Also comes with a helpful memory card USB reader so I can stick it straight to my computer through one of the USB ports easily to transfer my data. Please note this is the Mark2 which is meant for high end SONY cameras and camcorders to keep up with the high data speeds and transfer. Great job SONY and Amazon!

Firstly do not buy from a seller called:Exclusive Traders.
I bought my 16Gb card from him and regretted it. When it arrived, it wasnt 'NEW' as described. It came without the original Sony packaging but in some clear plastic case. This was the first sign or trouble. Then the card itself looked fake and really bad quality, including the writing on the car.
Check with google how to compare the real card to the fake ones.
The fake ones appear to be 16Gb in capacity on screen but the files you copy across and read from will get corrupted. And you will only be able to use approx 1Gb.
Then eventually over time this capacity will be lost as well as the card falling apart.
Be carefull.
In the end I had to go to the Official Sony store to get a real one, as it was now a last minute birthday present.
Otherwise the 16Gb card from Sony is well worth getting, you should always aim to get the highest capacity your money can buy.
I use this in my U.S PSP to store my games, movies and TV Series and already its full! lol.

I have bought 2 memory cards from ebay and one from Amazon market place, all of which were fake and will not work in my Sony Tg3 Camcorder!
BEWARE the market is flooded with fakes.
The way to tell is the writing on the back of the card should be engraved into the plastic, run your finger over the back, if its smooth its genuine, if you can feel a slight raise then its painted on and fake.
My camcorder just kept saying memory may not be able to record images all the time, very annoying.
THIS ONE IS REAL....AT LAST!!
