In a traditional, closed, tight Working Class community growing up knowing you were special in the 80s could be difficult. Needing to find a way to fit in, over compensation in manly activities was often the outlet for such confused feelings.

This is the tale of one such rite of passage. The writer creates an emotive back drop of very close male bonding and eye popping shared experience. You can almost taste the blood, sweat, tears and other bodily fluids as he and other like minded chums gradually come to terms to with who they really are. Above all its a joyous story of realisation and gay abandon as dreams are fulfilled, curiosities explored and needs satiated.

It's also about rucks.

AN intense insight into the very heart of the human psyche. The authors use some dazzling techniques of rhetoric to excoriate the banal surface from the essence of a mans soul, to find out what lies not just within the heart of man, but beyond it.

Using literary and investigative techniques from the ages, the authors delve deep into the ultimate questions of the cosmos. Who are we? What are we? Is there even a notion of self amongst the collective global consciouness.

We come out of it all both exhillerated and exhausted, drained, yet fulfilled.

Its also about rucks.
