As a background, I have some neglected record decks and little else. I looked around for a system where I could listen to the the Radio, listen to my encoded music /digital media and play my records. So I bought the Sonos 120 and some Monitor Audio BX2's. I plugged it all together, turned on my laptop and 3 minutes later was playing my records via the selectable line in. Sonos detected my laptop, I allowed it to search it and bingo, all my music stored on there was indexed for playback. I logged in via the Sonos Controller software - its really easy to do, and bought Spotify Premium the sound quality (320kbs) is cracking. I now use my iPhone, using the Sonos App, to control everything including setting the Alarm function so I wake up to my favorite Radio station. Its cracking it really is. Im glad I got the 120 and separate speakers, it sounds so much better than the small all in one system and the BX2's are a perfect match.

Just moved house. The previous owners have installed built-in speakers into the ceiling of the main living areas. Needed to find something to provide the music and this does the job with bells on. I also have a NAS attached to my router containing all my music. I can listen to whatever I like wherever I like. Looks good - works great with the iPad controller.
Had a slight issue and rang customer services (freephone number) and the BEST customer service I have encountered. Couldn't have been more helpful or knowledgeable.

Had this for a month or so now. It produces a wonderful sound paired with some Diamond 10.1 speakers. Sound quality is surprisingly good despite the relatively low quality mp3's I'm playing through it. The iTouch driven controller works really nicely. I'm making particularly frequent use of the internet radio stations and ability to search for recorded shows or stations.
My only surprise was to discover that I had to have at least one of my Sonos devices hard wired to my router (not a problem giving their coincidental close proximity).
That aside, I thoroughly recommend it. Its very simply to use, works well and sounds great.
