When my son (aged then 3) went through a 'Sonic' phase, this came up on the Christmas list and I bought it for him. It was exactly what he wanted - a small figure, which moves in all kinds of ways, so that he could make Sonic do anything he wanted. A good size for small hands, he came out with us on all kinds of trips. And when necessary, he would fit easily into a bag or pocket.
But it wasn't too long before he came apart at his tiny, tiny waist, and in trying to get the two halves together again, he broke. There are so many small limbs, and little joints, that it was bound to happen sooner or later.
I never really liked this toy much, but he was just what my son wanted - I just wish he had been a bit stronger.

Love this Sonic!

I have bought 2 of these - one for each of my sons ages 4 and 6. They have been playing with them for months as well as with Tails, blue translucent Sonic, and Knuckles. None have broken and they love these guys!
Would definitely buy again.
Update: Okay - after almost a year we have had some breakage - One Tails (his leg) and one Knuckles (his shoe) - I would still buy these again for the fun factor and I actually did replace the broken Knuckles. The blue translucent Sonic that I bought ages ago is still going strong and is played with the most.

i got the sonic toy, and so far, its a-okay, you just can't be rough with it is all, sure ya can't stand it up, but put something that stands completely still and lean the sonic toy on it, so overall, its okay, not the greatest ever, bu if their ever was a sonic toy you'd like to get, its this one.

This toy for my grandson arrived very promptly. However, within a few hours of play both legs were off Sonic. Since then I have purchased him another one slightly larger and stronger. If my grandson was rough with toys then I could say he broke it however he is just the opposite. Rarely does he break any off his toys it seems most of those cases involves other children. The legs were sightly larger than several toothpicks tied to gather or match sticks. Since the toy only lasted several hours that counts for the low review. I have purchased many toys and this is the only one I've had a negative review on, sorry.
