I need my sleep... and I live on a busy main road, which makes nodding off at 9pm, very challenging. I eventually succumbed to wearing earplugs. Perfect - except my standard alarm clock no longer woke me...
This is where this little Sonic Alert beauty comes in. I've used this every day for 18-months now and it wakes me everytime.

It works but there are some resounding design faults which would make me look around if I ever needed another one.
The worst is that it's round with a small snooze button. Might not sound like a big deal but when you're in a sleepy haze and fumbling with the clock under your pillow to try to snooze it, it's not fun needing to figure out where the snooze button is. Its only saving grace is that the clip-on tie is directly opposite from the snooze button which makes it easier to locate.
The two other minor problems is that 1) it's big so there's a good chance that you'll notice it if it's too close to your head under the pillow; 2) the vibrator seems to be very loud which has the potential to disturb the person next to you.
The Lifemax vibrating alarm clock is a much better design, IMHO.

Its loud even in silient mode, (Vibrating clocks and simalar make a noise wether on soft or hard surface) Its big, sadly the buttons to set the clock were an after thought. Fiddly when you are awake setting clock, took a while to find button to turn of, well half asleep at the time. Once you have done it a few times might be easier if still fiddly.
Its a good clock but totaly the opposite of its description, it wants to be hidden (comes with a pouch) silient to others, and easy to control. However its big and realy wants to be seen and heard by all, and is so not easy to control.
But hey before i got it my old vibrating travel alarm clock broke could find it anywhere, had to use a normal alarm clock and 2 mobiles which were on vib.....didnt work at all........this will definatly wake even the heaviest sleeper.
Although i got another from amazon at the same time not tried it yet............

flimsy - bad design on switches on outside rim...

It will wake you (and the rest of the room members) up.
