This album hits so many spots.
There is no intimidation, no arrogance, just friendly encouragement. The melodies are whispery and journeyful. The plucking is intricate and complements the voice, making a seemingly effortless duet. There are years of experience condensed into a handful of songs. It is full of therapy. A musical experience that is joyous, full of sorrow, winter warmth and gentle resignation. 'Don't let the world occupy you're brain, just cause there are no more sheep'. Thanks Will.

I stumbled across Will Cookson's music online and bought this album on a half-whim having only heard a few songs, but did I regret this impulse purchase? Gosh no. This album marks the arrival of some real new talent and many wonderful songs that leave a meaningful lasting impression. My advice is to buy this album and like me you'll be left happily fulfilled yet greedily wanting more.
