This is one of the most inspiring albums I have come across in years. Hitherto, reluctant to look beyond my favourite, Enya, for 'New Age' music, I came across Secret Garden not knowing much about them (I haven't watched the Eurovision Song Contest since it was won by Brotherhood of Man!). The music, to me, evokes the serenity and escapism of a tranquil hidden garden far from life's turmoil - for some reason which I cannot explain - reminiscent of (my vision or concept of) the 1930s. Ideal music for a relaxing summer afternoon; a quiet evening or just simply unwinding, and a thoroughly worthwhile purchase.
If I had a criticism, it would possibly be that there are only 43 minutes of "escape time", but then you can press the repeat button!
