Full of simple melodies and and childlike lyrics to share with your child. This album became an immidiate hit with my daughter Its the kind of record that parents dream of, loved by your children and can be played over and over again without driving you insane. Guthrie sounds like your favourite Uncle as he as he spins golden memories from baby talk, nonsence rhymes and daft wordplay. Tunes like Little Sugar(Little Saka Sugar), I Want My Milk(I Want It Now)and Goodnight Little Arlo(Goodnight Little Darlin')sparkle with fun, fun & more fun. This very special record should be in every parents record collection

This is a CD that was fairly disappointing when I first listened to it on my own, as it just seemed like country music (which I do not listen to all all). However, once I started listening to it with my year old baby (dancing with her in my arms, or on floor), singing the rhythmic verses before she falls asleep, or just as a sing-along (with other friends and their pre-school children) it is wonderful.

This CD is a big favourite in our house. I love Guthrie's use of language and plays on words to make songs children want to sing. His sense of humour really comes through and we never get tired of listening to this album. I highly recommend it.
