I thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the (Australian) neighbourly Hayley Westenra and her fabulous voice. All 5 women along with the brilliant violinist combine to produce a most memorable event. Each one of them is unique with a wonderful voice, then with the fabulous Orchestra behind them my superlatives are endless.
Celtic Thunder are about to embark on an Australian Concert tour and I am very hopeful these beautiful women will very soon grace our Country with their unique, collective sounds that I admire so much.
Hayley Westenra is the voice behind the theme of the current Rugby Union World Cup in New Zealand.

I haven't seen the other CW DVDs but had some idea of what to expect from various Youtube clips. Based on these, I booked to see CW at Birmingham during their UK 2011 tour. Unfortunately this tour has been postponed and it was as a sort of compensation that I bought the Songs from the Heart DVD.
The songs are varied and the arrangements admirably suit the soloists who give superb performances both as soloists and as an ensemble. As ever, the production is visually stunning with superb lighting and choreography. Added attractions are the inclusion of pipes and pyrotechnics.
I'm looking forward to the postponed UK tour, now promised for 2012, and my first live performance of this very talented group.

It's ok
I like the "A new journey" DVD more. But the sound is better on this "Songs from the heart DVD" It's in 5.1 but just a sterio on the New Journey DVD
