So at last it's finally out on CD and I grabbed it instantly as a souvenir for a night spent in Manchester on the tour with my wife and a crazy Scottish couple sat next to us. I never got around to getting the DVD as I rarely seem to get time to really sit down and enjoy them....although I can spend hours listening to CDs/Vinyl :)
Wow! What a fantastic sound, what a great reminder of that night. It's a great set put together to please the audience with many of the bands more well known tracks on display, but there are a few curve balls. As mentioned elsewhere the song Mind Drive from KtA2 which was a surprise when they played it live on the night and Roundabout gets a "shuffle" kind of arrangement in the acoustic section. One of my favourite songs ever by Yes gets a look in - Turn of the Century which for me contains one of the most moving lyrical lines ever "In the still light of dawn she dies, helpless hands so revealing".
If you're a Yes fan you'll love this album, if you were there one night of the tour you'll love this album, if you're curious about Yes live...grab it - 3CDs for less than £13 and you're getting possibly the last live document of this classic line up...was it really 10 true Summers ago?
