Format:Audio CD
It is rare for me to buy a CD on impulse, but I read through the list of songs and decided I knew and liked most of them. My investment has been rewarded with hours of audio pleasure. There is not a single tune I do not like, which guarantees this compilation a place in my heart forever. Really good to sing along to, too, if you like that sort of thing!

This album is something special; a beautiful collection of female talent, with the perfect mix of wistful love songs, pop records, and classic tunes. Far superior to other albums of this type (eg New Woman). I particularly liked the mix of popular artists like Madonna and Faith Hill with the lesser known (but still equally talented)artists like Michelle Branch and Sarah McLachlan. Highlights of the album are Michelle Branch's fabulous Everywhere, Dido's Thankyou and Natalie Merchant's Break your heart. The only song I disliked was Midnight at the oasis, which I felt was out of place on the album.

Unbelievable compilation!

This is an unbelievable compilation of the best of the best! I purchased my set when in London several years ago and it's been at the top of my favorites list since. At the top of my hubby's, too! "Not That Kind" by Anastacia is the hottest, and the tracks by Bonnie Raitt, Annie Lennox, Rickie Lee Jones and Maria Muldaur are their best. What a treat to get all this in one location. This CD is truly a treasure!
