Format:Audio CD
The quality of this album came as a real surprise to me. My mum's friend lent it to me as she really enjoyed it, but I was sceptical. All I can say is I needn't have been - it is truly fantastic. Most of the songs I hadn't heard before, but that didn't stop me enjoying them. Some of the standout tracks for me are "san andreas fault" (a classic in my eyes), "a place called home", "if i fall", "bend" and "angel". I would not say any song is out of place on this cd though, they are all worthy of being on it.
No matter what genre of music you enjoy, I would definitely recommend this album. Not just the ladies either!

Format:Audio CD
I found this gem when seaching for more music from Roisin O'Reilly, an Irish singer, who's album (Love So Kindly) I bought last year. Songbird is an eclectic mix of female vocalist - from Macy Gray to Alice Martineau with Joan Baez in the middle. This has all the hall marks of someone putting together a desert island disk and being lucky to work for a record company! Nice one for a summer drive or maybe a glass of wine in the garden as the evenings get shorter.

I'm so glad I purchased this CD I found it easy listening and a great choice of artist because I liked it that much I bought follow up CD of song bird it's highly recommended in my eyes .
