Wendy Alec writes from a certain view of 'end time' prophecy, its helpful to read across the various views. Anyway, this novel focuses on Nick and his journey to redemption as he uncovers his terrifying family history and the plans of those involved in the conspiracy. Here Wendy Alec chucks in all manner of urban legends and historical references - some of it well established fact - in order to build her story. Presidential assassinations, 9/11 and countless other events around which conspiracy theories have flourished are all drawn together here in a way that actually forces the reader to wonder just how much of this could be more than informed guesswork. All in all this is Wendy's best work to date.

A very careful and exciting 3rd part of the Chronicles of Brothers. Not many have been able to meld sanctified fiction with Biblical understanding. Wendy Alec has done a very good job and I am already looking forward to the next book. Non Christians would find this book exciting as evil seemingly having its way is always one step behind the One who will bring great good out of evil intent. Christians will have differing views but it is a good read with good Biblical authority behind it.

Wow what a read! This third book in the "Chronicle of Brothers" series had me hooked from the first page all the way to the last!
Although much darker than the first two books, there are also some comical moments that made me laugh out loud and gave it a very human feel.
The fight between good and evil gathers pace in this instalment and it also anwers some of the questions that were left unanswered from the previous books(although it raises a lot more of it's own).
Although I had guessed who "The Son Of Perdition" was going to be by the end of the second book, the way Wendy Alec has written this, weaves intrigue into each page making the reader"need more"! I quite literally could not put it down and read it from cover to cover in about 4 hours one evening.
I can't wait for book four to come out!

Amazing!!
Simply amazing. This Christian fantasy book adds imagination to scriptural truths. May the Lord continue to bless Wendy Alec with grace, insight and wisdom.

Son of Perdition
It keeps you in suspense and yet it sounds so real life. Even the ending is a surprise but if you believe in miracles... I will say no more.
