Product Description

Product Description

the first national release by the eldest son of Muddy Waters; a rather intimidating act to follow unless you have the blues embedded in your genetic code. Mud Morganfield proves to be a chip off the old block with a powerful 12 song set of mostly original tunes in the classic Chicago blues style. Mud's commanding voice can summon up the spirit in a way that is all but lost in today's contemporary blues world. He and his powerful band will make you remember what it is that made you fall in love with the blues in the first place. The miracle of Mud Morganfield is here for the world to see.

Review

'...his easy manner and intense but seemingly effortless delivery makes the material feel fresh and vital...such is Morganfield's power over his audience that he has most of audience up on their feet and dancing --Classic Rock Presents The Blues

Great Chicago Blues! Played by the son of one of the greatest blues men, Muddy Waters.
Muddy has left us some great music and now with his sons Big Bill Morganfield and now Mud Morganfield the legacy continues.

Saw Mud on Later With Jools Holland and ordered the CD straight away, not stopped playing for a month and the landlord of my local pub got a copy for Christmas from me and when he plays it in the pub he always gets questions. Get this CD, it's outstanding.
