This book is BRILLIANT and should be on bookshelves in homes,schools, libraries and hospitals!
As a mum and as a children's nurse I LOVED the cheekiness and warmth in the story, but the sensitivity too in addressing the difficult world and reality of children with long term conditions in hospitals. It is BRILLIANTLY illustrated (especially the dreaded peas!) and reads smoothly. Buy it for your bookshelf and buy a copy for someone you know, as people will LOVE it!

"Sometimes" is a truly original book written from the viewpoint of two children who often have to visit hospital. Its message is delivered with a light touch, humour and beautiful illustrations. A must for every family who ever has to visit hospital.

Sometimes is a super resource for discussing the issues around disability, illness & hospital visits from the perspective of the patient & their siblings. It is also simply a beautiful picturebook full of warmth & love which any small child will enjoy!
