4.0 out of 5 stars Leeds label branches out. 29 July 2007
If you live in Leeds, then you probably know that DTTR (set up by Forward, Russia guitarist Whiskas) is home to some of the greatest new bands, not just from Leeds, but now from all over the country. DTTR has branched out by signing bands from outside the Leeds area, and although this may be frowned upon by some, the new compilation is possibly even stronger than the last.
The label also seems to have become more varied in terms of musical styles. This time, there are a variety of genres- acoustic, indie, sequencers, pop, some of the wonky art rock the label is known for, and even emo.
Standout tracks come from Sky Larkin, :(, I Was A Cub Scout and the Grammatics.
