An illustrated story for pre-school and early school-aged children.
Told with a fun element, the story is about a child who wants to learn new things. But there are no books or schools in the land where he lives, so he goes with his uncle on a journey through strange places such as:
Round a mountain made out of jellies,
which no-one could climb unless they wore wellies.
Through a big forest with trees made of candy.
By now they were hungry, so this was most handy.
After a year away from his home, Griglet Groo returns with books and knowledge for his people and Mungatumbray becomes a happier and wiser land.
