If you have heard of Belasco and want to know what they are all about,then you need to purchase "something between us".
Up until now besides some ep's, Belasco have released 2 full length albums that speak volumes.
I first came across them reading a review about them which compared them to so many other bands, the likes of Smashing pumpkins, The Doves, Coldplay, Radiohead and many others.
All great bands, but no comparison needed. As Belasco are in a league of their own and deserve to be.

An extremley unique sound, Tim Brownlow's vocals have so much feeling and expression that the lyrics speak for themselves. The music speaks for itself, together an incredible sound and each song a story to tell.
As soon as this compilation was released on Amazon I purchased it online, a long 2 weeks wait for me.
The songs of Belasco chosen are fantastic, a great way for other listeners to hear and discover the greatness and individuality of this band and each song.
For the fans this compilation is all worth it for the first 2 songs, if nothing else.
"Chloroform, and "something between us", to my knowledge are not available anywhere else and these 2 songs, the most recent for Belasco. Are original, dark, deep and at the same time loud and full of sound that hooks you in.
A review can only describe so much and of course their is alot of ones own opinion involved.
Though if you have heard some of Belasco's songs and want to know a little more. Then "something between us" is a great introduction to songs already released and listening to them a great way to wait for the release of Belasco's next album.
