This DVD has an English soundtrack to select despite the German on the case. This early Carpenter film (of Halloween fame) is a deftly made psychological thriller with an engaging performance from Lauren Hutton - at once resilient and vulnerable. Moving into a swish new apartment to start her dream job, things quickly assume an air of menace when our heroine starts to receive persistent, nuisance calls. But this is just the beginning. . . The story has
been picked up many times since but this is definitely the original (and best)!
