Product Description

Product Description

Angeline is brilliant! She knows way more than a child of her age ought to. When she is moved up a class at school she finds that her intelligence doesn't equip her entirely for dealing with the pressures of being with the older group. Soon she is finding refuge with a teacher and her tropical fish and another unlikely student. With Louis Sachar's hallmark twist-and-turns of plot and lovely humour, this delightful novel is thought-provoking and brilliant.

About the Author

Louis Sachar is the author of prize-winning and bestselling HOLES, as well as the 2006 hardback success SMALL STEPS. He lives in Austin, Texas, where he writes his wonderful novels for young readers.

favourite book!! 7 Oct 2009
A Kid's Review
Format:Paperback
I'm ten years old and have read the previous books (dogs don't tell jokes, there's a boy in the girls bathroom etc) and loved them!
so it's no surprise that I really like this one too, someday angeline is a great book for any age and would recommend it to anyone.
I'm struggling to find another book to read because I'm so glued to louis sachar ones!

I am 15 years old and I read a huge amount. This is one of my favorite books of all time. It's incredible, and it gets better as you get older. Angeline, the heroine, is brilliant and charming. All she wants is to fit in, but she can't. Of coures, she finally does get the yummy end of the deal, but without compromising herself. And the middle...!!! of the book... I've read the Wayside School books and didn't like them half as much although they weren't bad.
