I laughed and cried through this series of seven short stories...and in all the right places!

Rebecca has been on the best sellers list for Ether Books on the iPhone and she has a real knack for the short story. What makes these different is that each one is entirely dialogue-based. She has managed to tell a story and raise emotions with nothing more than dialogue, yet I was left feeling that I knew and cared for the characters in every case.

This little gem is well worth the very small price, and great to dip into when stood in a queue, waiting for a bus, or even sat on the loo!

I look forward to the next offering from Rebecca.

The seven stories in this collection are about people we all know. They are our friends, our neighbours, the people we meet in the supermarket or the pub, and Ms. Brown's talent is that she makes her characters as real to us as these people we know in real life. Her talent and expertise with dialogue would put many professional scriptwriters to shame. Her knack of knowing how real people speak makes her characters jump off the page and into our hearts and minds.
I hope that I will be able to read more from this talented author soon.

I absolutely loved this collection of stories. Rebecca E Brown has an amazing skill for creating a perfect snapshot of conversation, using only a few brushstrokes. I could hear the voices as soon as I started reading and within seconds, I was part of their world. A very real and rare talent.
