This woman has courage. She can sing circles around anyone on Broadway (or at the Met for that matter), yet here returns to her Oklahoma country music roots to try something different. She's not going for those high C's and trying to wow the crowd. Blessed with one of the greatest female songwriters ever (who produces and provides several songs) Kristin is pushing the envelope because, of course, that's what art is all about. Slip this into your car CD player, hit the road, crank it up, hear both feelings and FUN!

Bought this as enjoy Kristen's singing as April on Glee. Not the power ballads that I expected but enjoyed the country sound and some funny lyrics. Hope she does bring out an album with songs similar to that she has sung on Glee.
