If you are studying organic chemistry, you must buy this book. It is an extremely well crafted one. Excercises within this book are challenging, but yet they are not discouraging for the beginner, and solutions are extremely clear and informative, rather than patronising. By using this book you will be able to assess your level of understanding of organic chemistry, espcecially if you are using the textbook Organic Chemistry by the same authors.

This is a very good book for both undergraduates and those looking to brush up on their general chemistry for interviews (like me), especially if you combine it with the main textbook from Clayden et al. It has been laid out in a logical way and is explained in a way which makes it easy to understand. I only wish it had been available when i was an undergraduate.Cant recommend it enough.

Very useful for any Undergraduate Chemist, and probably for post grads and above too. Saw it on many people's shelves at Pfizer! Loads of detail, explanations, easy to use, well indexed, covers a huge range of topics - buy it!
