It's a very simple cover to fit, especially as it can stay on when the tap is in use. I've given it four stars instead of five as I think it has a slight design flaw. The seam (or split in the fabric) is on the upper side of the cover. Therefore, any rain falling could find its way into the cover which could then freeze. It's a minor point but the split seam would be better on the underside.

Having purchased this item before Christmas I finally got to fit it the other day. The polystyrene split rendering the item useless. I have emailed the seller and hope to get a refund. I don't want a replacement!

A good basic product, made out of pipe lagging. Took only a little effort to fit, and only because the feed pipe was not coming straight out of the wall but running along it for a few inches! Poly caps look as though they will last.

Outside tap cover
The product fits well over tap and can use tap without taking whole of the cover off. The speed of delivery was excellent and product as discribed.

Tap cover
This universal cover does the job fairly well even if it is a bit fidley to fit. Just make sure you have a good sharp Stanley blade and proceed with caution.

Fitted in less than 10 mins!!

Does what it says on the packet
I found this easy to fit and leaves access to fit a hose when needed. Yet to have a freeze since purchase so cant coment on insulating properties
