I like taking care of my shoes, but I don't like the price of getting them repaired at cobblers. I have used several sets of these stick on soles, and they have restored the function and appearance to that of a new shoe.
These are a couple of ways to apply these soles. You can either cut them to size using your shoe, a pencil and pair of scissors. Outline the sole with the pencil onto the rubber and cut. Or you can apply glue to the whole sole as it is from the packet, and then trim of the excess with a stanley knife when it is dry.
Makes sure that the sole is clean and dry, then use a bit of sandpaper to roughen it up (it will hold the glue better)
Apply the glue to the sole and spread it thin and even, then let it dry a bit. Then apply glue to the sole, thin and even again, and without haste as it dries quickly, then match the sole and shoe up and press firmly.
Make sure that it does match before you press it down, as it is VERY sticky, and you will find it hard to remove.
Once it is dry you have repaired the soles of your shoes :) It is easy and quick to do, and you WILL save money, and enjoy the process too!
